Dave was awesome as always. He arrived a few minutes early, but when I wasn't ready for him, he was very understanding and waited patiently while I went to search for the keys so that he could work on my girlfriend's car. The job was supposed to take about an hour, but Dave finished in around 45 minutes. I started up the car and it purred like a sleeping cat. Seriously, this guy is the best.

Isai

I was a little skeptical at first using a mobile mechanic, but being a thousand miles away from home in an unfamiliar town, I needed my car fixed asap since the car starter was having issues. I found the service affordable, hassle-free, quick, and overall pleasant. The mechanic (Isai R.) was running a little late due to traffic but informed me via phone and quickly got to work fixing my car. I was impressed by the mechanics knowledge, professionalism, and eagerness to get the job done right. I would use YourMechanic.com again. Thanks!

All about Starter Replacement

A starter is an electrical motor that is connected to the battery. The job of a starter is to set the engine (pistons, crankshaft, etc.) in motion when you turn the ignition switch on. Once the engine starts and is in motion, the job of starter is done. If the starter goes bad, the engine will not crank properly when you turn the ignition key on or may not crank at all.
