As my first time using Yourmechanic.com, Patrick was on-time with the appointment. I was skeptical based on mechanics working on my car in the past. Most the time they fix one issue and leave another. Patrick checked all issues when considering diagnostic read wrongly of it being my starter. He saw busted fuses and put in new ones. Lastly, told me to get the oil checked and done. Once I checked my oil at a local place, I had to get all brand new lights put in the car.

I am impressed by how easy it was to have a mechanic come to me rather than trying to find a way to get my vehicle to a shop. Jose, the mechanic who repaired my car, was very courteous and willing to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend YourMechanic.com to anyone looking for a mechanic! In fact, one of my neighbors asked about them since her car was in need of repair. I recommended YourMechanic.com and she is planning on setting up her own appointment.

I appreciated the fact that he stayed until the job was done right. The website under-estimated how long it would take to do the repairs but Carlos didn't make a big fuss. He just put his head down and did his job. Explained everything he did and gave me tips and advice for future work I'll need.

All about Oil Pan Gasket Replacement

An oil pan is a metal container that contains the engine oil. The oil pan gasket seals the oil pan to the bottom of the engine. The engine has a lot of moving parts that need to be kept lubricated by the engine oil, without which the parts will damage each other. The oil pan and the gaskets are located under the car and are attached to the bottom of the engine. It is common for the gaskets to wear out and start leaking oil. You will see oil on the ground beneath your car. If the oil is leaking, you may see an engine oil warning light in the dashboard. If you continue to drive your car without the proper amount of oil, you will risk severe damage to the engine.
