For a smoother ride, more and more car manufacturers are leveraging technology that can control the suspension in a number of incredible ways. Ride control technology is one of the best methods for doing this. Aside from making sure the road beneath you doesn’t become a problem to your handling, the ride control module in your car can also ensure that strong winds, sharp inclines and unexpected turns don’t throw you out of your seat.
The ride control module takes constant readings, assesses them and sends directions to your vehicle’s suspension to adapt as necessary. This is both a safety and comfort feature of modern cars.
The ride control module only receives service when there is a failure to perform as designed. If you notice a problem with your ride height or quality of ride, have one of our expert mechanics inspect and replace the module as necessary.
Normally a ride control module will have a default setting if it fails, though that may not always operate as it should. You may experience a less responsive, less controlled driving experience, but you can take your time having the ride control module repaired.
