There's a reason I request him every time.
As always, Scott was great! On time, professional, knowledgeable, and had me feeling "at ease" as soon as he pulled up in the drive way.

good
Erik did a great job handling the maintenance on my car. I started with a battery replacement since he could do it while it was parked on the street without me having to move it. He pointed out a few items that would be good to get done for a reasonable fee and kept great records of the work for me to review. On time and quick.

Most of the time I book Matt he is early, peppy, and gets the job done right the first time. Me and my wife love him so much, we are worried we won’t have a reliable mechanic should we leave the area. We cannot recommend Matt and YourMechanic enough.

Joe is the best experience I have had with a mechanic. And this is coming from someone who was in the car business for over 10 years working around mechanics.

On time and took the time to explain everything he was doing. His ENTHUSIASM about cars really shows, and you can tell he's amazed by everything thing about cars.. He also took the time to tell me what I could do better to help keep the cabin air filter clean and took the time to show and explain what brake fluid SHOULD look like versus what was in my car before the maintenance. Very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. I test drove my car afterwards, and the brakes feel like they are working much better. We are in the middle of a bad heat wave unfortunately, and he never complained: Not once. Very cheerful and enthusiastic mechanic. Highly recommend.

Cabin Air Filter Replacement Service

What is the Cabin Air Filter all about?

When you turn on the heat or air conditioner, the air that you get from the car vents originates from outside the car. The cabin air filter cleans the air before passing it through the heating or air conditioning system.

Cabin Filter

Keep in mind:

The cabin air filter is different from the air filter. The job of the air filter is to clean the air that goes into the engine to burn fuel. The job of the cabin air filter is to clean the air that you get from the vents inside the car. You may have more than one cabin air filter.

How it's done:

  • Remove and replace the cabin air filter(s)
  • Clean out all the debris from the compartment if needed.

Our recommendation:

Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and change the cabin air filter as recommended. If you regularly park your car under a tree or near bushes, the cabin air filter(s) will likely suck up debris and leaves, becoming dirtier, faster.

What common symptoms indicate you may need to replace the Cabin Air Filter?

  • Airflow from the AC vents is low or weak.

How important is this service?

When you turn on the heat, fan, or air conditioning in your vehicle, the air that enters the cabin is taken from outside the car. Before passing through your vents it first goes through the cabin air filter, which captures much of the dust, dirt, and harmful pollutants in the air. A functioning cabin air filter assures that the air coming through your vents is clean. When the cabin air filter stops working, the air that enters your vents is unfiltered and can be harmful to breathe. A dirty cabin air filter also obstructs the flow of air to the vents, which will lower the power of your heating or air conditioning system.
