My appointment was scheduled for 12:30 pm and Theodore showed up at around 11:00 am so he was early and I was in the middle of a zoom meeting for a job interview. A call from him saying he was gonna be early would have been nice as I had to interrupt my job interview in the middle to talk to him about my car. Thankfully my prospective employer was understanding. He was not the friendliest person I’ve ever met but he was a good mechanic and fixed my issue very quickly. Not really sure what the 50 point inspection entailed or if he completed it ??? I did see him check radiator and filter but other than that not sure what else he inspected. ??? Overall I’m satisfied with what I wanted taken care of. As I’m not a mechanic and I have my car back and that’s what I needed.

I had a 2007 Prius that just wouldn't start. It was my first hybrid and I learned the hard way that you shouldn't go for extended periods of time without driving them. I suspected the 12-volt battery might be out of juice, so I tried recharging it, but it was too dead to even recharge. So Dameron shows up on a cold day and we can't even get the trunk open because it's electrically operated (although they can be recharged from the front, Prius batteries are installed in the back of the vehicle). Once he got to the battery from the inside, we discovered it had a solid block of ice locking it in place. Dameron was flexible enough to postpone the battery replacement until a warmer day. On his second visit, the ice had thawed and he was able to get the new battery installed. He got it done fast, but more importantly, he got it done right! The car alarm went off as soon as the new battery was installed and I finally got the engine running again. Just what I needed! It's not every day that I need to call a mechanic to my home, but if I ever need one again, I won't hesitate to call for Dameron first.
