1998 Toyota 4Runner 105,000 mile service at the convenience of your home or office

This is the second time I have used YourMechanic and I requested Chris because he did such a good job with our first car. This time we needed new rack n pinion bushings on our 98 4Runner. Chris showed up on time. It was raining so we cleared a space partially in the garage. He didn't complain about the rain. After he started taking things apart he learned he had the wrong parts caused by a mix up with our VIN and the limitations of the web site when setting the appointment; but that didn't stop him, he quickly located the right part, went to pick it up and was back to finish the job. I appreciate that he didn't leave me with an un-driveable car but was determined to finish. It took longer than he thought, the old parts were a bear to get off because they were so old, but instead of charging me MORE, the job was LESS than quoted because the correct parts turned out to cost less then the incorrect parts. Nick was professional and easy to talk to. He explained clearly what was going on with my car, showed photos he took and pointed out evidence of wear. Made suggestions on repairs needed.
