As my first time using Yourmechanic.com, Patrick was on-time with the appointment. I was skeptical based on mechanics working on my car in the past. Most the time they fix one issue and leave another. Patrick checked all issues when considering diagnostic read wrongly of it being my starter. He saw busted fuses and put in new ones. Lastly, told me to get the oil checked and done. Once I checked my oil at a local place, I had to get all brand new lights put in the car.

He was great. Got right to work and found I didn't need an alternator, but a rat removed and belt put bsck where it belonged. This is my 2nd time having Joe as my mechanic and I was very happy with his professionialism and the way jerome me everything he was doing.

Great to work with. Turns out the issue I thought I had was actually something else which he was able to pin point. Good mechanics are hard to find, so I'm happy to have found him!

All about Engine or Transmission Mount Replacement

An engine mount, made of rubber and steel, has two purposes. One, it secures the engine and transmission to the frame of the car, and two, it absorbs the road shocks and engine vibrations so that the driver does not feel any engine movement. Transmission mounts secure the transmission. Most cars have multiple engine and transmission mounts. If one of the mounts breaks, you will feel significant engine movement (vibrations and/or shaking).
