Can you tell us more about what you do at YourMechanic?

I work for Your Mechanic as a Parts & Quotes Advisor. I ensure that all parts are ordered correctly and I also help locate hard to find parts. Some parts are specific; thus it is imperative that mechanics have the correct and compatible parts. Additionally, I help mechanics with automotive technical questions which require the use of factory manuals for finding procedures, electrical schematics, as well as part locations and diagrams. I want to alleviate the everyday obstacles for all mechanics and ensure a successful repair for our customers.

Why did you join YourMechanic?

I have been a service advisor for many repair shops in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was very intrigued to find a platform geared towards automotive repair associated with a mobile application. It is the most advanced way for anyone to get automotive service completed on demand. Being a huge car enthusiast myself, I knew I wanted to be part of the newest revolution in the automotive repair industry.

What’s your dream car?

Unfortunately, my dream car doesn't exist yet, so I am building it myself. It is a 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit GTI with carbon fiber body panels, reduced chassis weight to 1800 lbs, converted to AWD with a wide stance, and powered by the latest R32 engine.

What one accomplishment are you most proud of?

Team effort is everything. I have learned that you must form trust and a solid bond to create a good relationship with the people you work with. I am proud to have these connections, and I am pleased to be part of making customers and mechanics happy.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

You can always find me in the garage, relentlessly upgrading and modifying my project cars. If I am not working on cars, I am laser engraving.

What kind of music do you like to listen to?

I have a massive appreciation for classical music, and I am also a huge fan of death metal.

Do you collect anything? If so, what is it?

I collect jars of dirt from different countries. I am a nerd for elements & organisms, and I have a passion for botany.
