Can you tell us more about what you do at YourMechanic?
I’m here for business development. The company has done a great job in establishing itself as a technology company with the largest network of mobile mechanics nationwide. Rooted in B2C, there’s an awesome opportunity to expand the B2B business launched last year and also focus on B2B2C opportunities. I’ll spend most of my time driving growth in these areas.
Why did you join YourMechanic?
With the change and disruption we’re seeing in car ownership, YourMechanic has a unique opportunity to put itself in a position to capture and serve the needs of the market and the direction the industry is heading. This is exciting stuff and having a hand in helping to drive the company towards its goals is what attracted me to YourMechanic.
What’s your dream car?
Tesla Roadster 2020! Who wouldn’t want a car that does 0-60 in under 2 seconds, a top speed of 250 mph and can go 620 miles on a single charge?
What one accomplishment are you most proud of?
My wife and I were able to combine our passion for fitness and business and opened up a gym in our hometown. It was such a fulfilling and satisfying experience from the many lessons we learned as a first-time small business owner to seeing the transformations in health and habit many of our members achieved.
What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
When I’m not at work you’ll probably find me at the gym working off the stresses of the day trying to stay in shape so I can keep up with my daughters’ busy weekend schedules!
Do you have a favorite quote? If so, what is it?
“Love the life you live. Live the life you love.” - Bob Marley. I’ve always thought if you’re not happy or satisfied with something in your life take the initiative and change it!
What’s your favorite place you’ve ever visited and why?
I’ve been fortunate to have traveled to many different places, but one destination that really stands out is Moorea, French Polynesia. It’s one of the few places where the beauty of the sea and backdrop of overwater bungalows, palm trees, and exotic sea life actually match the marketing!
