We have an OLD car and we do not want to spend a lot of money on it. We rarely use the car. We watched him try to make the motor work to make the window go up and down but the motor was dead. The estimate was between $200 and $300 to repair it We simply left the window in a closed position though we recognize that we will not be able to open it any more. But he was very efficient at his work and very effective in communicating our options. He did exactly what we asked for and therefore recommend him to future clients.

Zach is exactly the kind of person you hope will come fix your car when using YourMechanic. This was my first time using this service, and I have a 'let's try and see what happens' attitude to new startup services. Well, Zach was on-time, very friendly & knowledgeable, and knew exactly what my car needed to be in tip top shape beyond the service call (two new parts, power steering pump and brake pads.) Most importantly, as an inexperienced car owner, when I told Zach I was selling the car he gave me tons of good advice on what exactly the car needed (not much) to be worth more than I was selling it for (a lot more.) Very polite, arrived on time... even earlier. Found the problem and fixed it. Did more then he was suppose to: did overall vehicle check and found that it was low on oil. Clearly described what was broken. Would recommend

Got the job done expertly. The car had sat for a week while I went around and round trying to diagnose what was wrong. Called everyone I knew for advice and was ready to concede defeat. There was much uncertainty as to whether I would ever get my car going without spending much much more than I could afford. I was prepared to call, with phone in hand, and have the vehicle towed to an unknown repair shop when (true story) I got the call from the inquiry I had made to the website of Your Mechanic. Just in time. Saved the day. Everything went smoothly from that point on and I am more than satisfied at how this all worked out. To me, this is now the only way to have service work or engine repair work diagnosed and repaired. Clearly Jonathan and Your Mechanic proved themselves to me.
