Q: Convertible top not working.
The convertible top on my Jaguar will not go down.

The first thing to do is to see if the convertible top fuse is ok. Then you should check that the power to and from the top switch is flowing. If both are ok then the power top motor should be checked to see if switch power is getting to it or not. If the motor is getting proper power then the motor can be replaced. My recommendation is to have the system throughly checked by a qualified technician.
