Spark Plugs

AMOUNT PAID

by Shoaib from Morgan Hill, CA 95037

It was my first time using Your Mechanics and it won’t be the last because of Jason’s excellent service. Jason called me before the visit to recommend using a different brand of spark plugs to save a decent chunk of money (ngk vs denco). During his visit, I was in and out of the garage but while, Jason clearly explained what he was doing. Definitely not for everyone but I rather enjoyed learning about my own car instead of being completely in the dark during regular garage visits. There was a quirk in how my car readjusts idle control after the spark plugs are changed. Jason stuck around for an extra hour until he figured it out (answer: disconnect battery for 10min). I felt comfortable through out the process. Highly recommend Jason.

Did a great job in installing the new brake pads (rear). Even advised that the rotors were fine and didn't require replacement. Highly recommended for quality, reliable, transparent, and fair service.

Key does not turn and steering wheel locked.

Hi, The seat belt system is designed to lock if pulled out too fast or if in a fast stop. Inside the mechanism for the belt there is a ratching mechanism that controls this locking and is not serviceable at...
Engine dies when I take my foot off gas pedal.
Answered by Robert
Hello. If the engine runs fine when you are holding the accelerator pedal down and dies when you release it then you may have a couple of possible issues. I would first check the vacuum hoses going to the engine....
