Will try to disconnect the negative cable. My husband took the key to batteries plus to replace the battery in the key but that didn't help. Do you know how much the dealer charges to unlock it?

HI, If it has to be reprogrammed, around $150 if no parts involved. If it needs a new immobilizer control module, around $475 parts and labor

Is there any other way to disable the anit theft?

HI The only other way is to permanently disable it, but that runs around $1500 as you have to remove the control modules and have them sent out to a custom programmer to remove the immobilizer software
