Q: Violent shifting

asked by on February 23, 2016

The transmission shifts violently.

Hi there. Sounds to me as if your vehicle is having issues with its transmission. This usually points towards an internal problem. Your transmission is made up of multiple gears and solenoids inside. If one of these components is malfunctioning your transmission will shift very rough. I’d strongly suggest taking your vehicle to a transmission specialist or having a certified mechanic diagnose this issue further person.
