Car does not shift from park to drive Inspection $94.99 - $114.99 Get a Quote

The shift lock requires the brakes to be pushed in order to get the vehicle out of Park. The brake lights need to be checked to see if they work; the brake switch and wire connector to the switch may have gone bad. I recommend having a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, run an inspection to diagnose the issue of your car not shifting out of Park, and recommend the best path to repair.
