Q: Transmission vibration.

asked by on January 06, 2016

My transmission seems to be vibrating in a certain gear.

This vehicle may have a couple problems that need to be addressed. The first is the torque convertor of the automatic transmission has issues of internal lock up clutch slips or chatters causing jerking or bucking. The transmission would need to be removed and the convertor replaced. The transmission PCM may also need to be reprogrammed to control the lock up convertor. I recommend a qualified mechanic check for these issues and the repairs needed.
