Q: The coolant level is low when the engine is cold

I have a 2006 focus st3 the coolant was well below minimum yesterday so topped it up and today was well below minimum when cold been sat all day and when realising the coolant cap alot of pressure came out and coolant rose to back to max level is this normal for this car to do this drives perfectly fine and no issues other than this

My car has 65000 miles.
