The roof rack adds a lot of extra storage to your vehicle. With the roof rack attached, you can carry items on the roof of your car. The roof rack has four positions that the roof rack cross rails can be in. Here’s how to adjust them: 1. Lift up on the lever of one of the roof rails. This will unlock the roof rack rail. 2. Slide the roof rack rail into the desired position. Make sure that the rail is aligned with some of the side rail holes. 3. Push the lever down to its original position. 4. Wiggle the cross rail until the lock pins are fully inserted in the side rail holes. You will hear the lock pins locking into place. 5. Try and move the cross rail to make sure that it is securely fastened. 6. Repeat steps 1 through five with the other roof rail. Tip You should not store more 220 lbs on the roof rack.
