Adding engine coolant is an important part of maintenance. It is necessary for safe engine operation. To add engine coolant/water.

1. Turn the engine off and let it cool completely.

2. Wrap a rag or old thick cloth around the coolant reservoir cap.

3. Turn the cap slowly.

4. Step back when gasses begin to escape.

5. Once the pressure is completely relieved finish removing the cap.

6. Slowly fill the reservoir to the Cold Fill mark with the proper mixture of antifreeze/water.

7. Replace the cap and fasten tightly.
