Q: Fuel pump stops and starts

I replaced the fuel relay, fuel filter, and now my fuel pump works and then wont work periodically.

My car has 204000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

It sounds like you may have either a poor connection to or from the relay, a poor connection to the fuel pump or potentially a fuel pump that is beginning to fail.
