Thanks for using JustAnswer.com! My name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I'll try to answer your car questions. I'll start off with some basic checks to do, then we can get into more advanced diagnostics if needed. Let me know if any questions come up, or if there is anything I can do to help! You can update this message at anytime. - I'm sorry to hear about any troubles with the vehicle, but would be glad to try and help! - The code that's setting indicates the engine isn't reaching normal operating temperature as soon as the engine computer thinks it should. This could be caused by [thermostat](/topics-thermostat-ford/) issue, or faulty temperature sensor readings. Recommend having mechanic check the operation of the thermostat and cooling system to see that engine is warming up normally, then see what the engine temperature and cylinder head temperature sensors are reading. If reading colder temps then the engine is running at, the sensors will need to be replaced. - Lemme know what youre seeing, or if any questions come up while checking things out!

The only thing I can see is that the light is on and my temp gauge is stuck on cold...my hearer works fine and I'm not smelling [coolants](/topics-coolant-ford/) while it runs

Suspecting temperature sensor has failed, or possible wiring issue/loose connection to sensor. Recommend having shop verify engine running at normal temperatures, then check wiring/connections and signal to the temperature sensor. If sensor has good connections, but not reading correctly, recommend having it replaced and operation. If sensor is reading correctly, but gauge reading wrong, the gauge cluster may need to be replaced, but should see some other codes setting in the instrument cluster module or body control modules for these type of issues. Lemme know what youre seeing, or if any questions come up while checking things out!

I'm not in my home state..i dont know any mechanics in the area I'm in

One (or more) of these is failing you, and will instruct the correct diagnostic path....
How low can my truck legally be like how high off the ground?
I have never heard of a legal limit for how low a vehicle can be (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-lower-a-vehicle-s-suspension-by-ed-ruelas). I would not recommend going below 6 inches for the lowest part of the suspension or you will not be able to go over...

A diagnostic would determine the root cause of the overheating. If the coolant level was low, and/or there was trapped air in the cooling passageways, perhaps related to the radiator replacement, those faults themselves can cause overheating. If the coolant...
My upper radiator hose is hot and my lower radiator hose is cold ..my car is also overheating and my radiator fan is not on
