Q: Engine code P0325.

asked by on December 28, 2015

My Accord displayed a Check Engine light with a code P0325.

Hello, p0325 is a code for a Knock Sensor Circuit Malfunction. There is either a sensor fault or the wiring for the sensor to the engine control unit is shorted or has an open circuit. The first thing to check would be the wiring from the engine control unit to the sensor. If the wiring checks out ok then a sensor will probably need to be replaced.

If you changed the radiator and thermostat and still overheats due to no coolant circulation then you have a water pump (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-water-pump) that is not circulating the coolant. The pump fins can get worn off, unable to pump and circulate...
