Welcome to JustAnswer Mechanical Support! I am AutoExpert20 and I will be Investigating and Supporting your question today. I understand it can be really frustrating when your auto is not working an expected but don't worry as I am here to help! I may need further information, however, if required I will let you know! Sorry to hear your having issues with your vehicle I will try to assist you. Step 1 Press the "Unlock" key on your key fob to deactivate the alarm and unlock the car doors. If you've lost your key fob, unlocking the driver's side door with the key automatically deactivates the PT Cruiser's alarm. Step 2 Look for the black alarm box underneath the dashboard, on the driver's side of the car. Locate the override button on the box -- either a black or red button, depending on the year of the PT Cruiser -- but don't press it yet. Put the key in the ignition and turn the key so that the [battery](/topics-battery-chrysler/) is on, but the [engine](/topics-engine-chrysler/) doesn't start. Quickly push and hold in the override button until you hear the alarm sound once, indicating the alarm is disabled.

I don't have a key fob just one grey keyThe year of my pt cruiser is 2008

When it comes to these cold air intakes and K&N type filters, the engine air flow is different than the original and your engine control module may not be able to correctly read the amount of air that the engine...
