From park car won't go into drive it goes to 3rd
My car has an automatic transmission.

The problem you have described with your vehicle not shifting from park to drive could be a problem with the shifter mechanism. It could be a worn shift cable and/or bushings. I recommend having your vehicle’s not shifting from park to drive issue inspected and repaired by a certified technician, such as one from YourMechanic.
