My car was recently in an accident, it was repaired but the insurance did not fix it completely. The shop that fixed the body of car was on the approved listing so we took the car their on their recommendation. They said that the code for the gas gauge is something to do with fuel sensor. Mechanic's Assistant: Are you certain it's the fuel pressure sensor that's in need of attention? What about the fuel rail? Have you checked it yet? The shop only said that it was the fuel sensor which the insurance does not believe was caused by accident. Prior to accident all was working on car Sonata 2013. They said if I got a certified hyndai mechanic to look at car n photos taken by shop, n substantiate that it was due to accident they would work with them to fix it. Well insurance has paid for car repairs except for fuel gauge flashing n showing gas empty, n the engine lite is also on.
