Between 50 and 70 mph when I accelerate the car is shaking.... Any ideas whay ????

My car has 159000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.

The things we check first with vibration problems are tire and wheel inspection and undercar components such as tie rod ends, rack and pinion steering, and wheel bearings. It may be as simple as a balancing weight that has come off your Jag’s wheel. I’d recommend getting some assistance from an experienced technician who can perform an inspection which will find the cause of the shaking you’re experiencing and fix it accordingly.

The price of unplugging the EGR passage
It depends on the car and what you need to do. I’ve got a video “unplug the EGR low-flow with a speedometer cable (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_eSvvuQm1E)” and a lot of times they work pretty well. You unbolt the EGR valve and then...
Trying to stop outside air from coming into my car

I want to know if it's ok to drive to Canada from Massachusetts with bad converter

new alternator and battery. Car wont start, any pointers?
Hello. This may be related to either a bad ground connection from the battery (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/how-to-check-a-car-battery) or potentially a bad voltage regulator (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/instrument-voltage-regulator-replacement). The other end of the black battery ground cable should be connected to the chassis of the car...
O2 sensor on exhaust manifold...is it upstream or downstream...09 Nissan Altima
Hey there, thanks for writing in about your 2009 Nissan Altima. The downstream O2 sensor is the sensor used for catalyst efficiency. It is not the one in the manifold but the one after the converter. If you need help...
ABS Module can not be reprogrammed
Hello. I would first contact the vendor who sold you the new ABS module. Reputable dealers and ABS module rebuilders are pretty good at guiding you through the "programming" aspect of this replacement. While there are some ABS modules that...
Does non-climate control car AC cut-in & cut-off automatically?
A/C systems that used fixed displacement compressors will cycle on and off (the compressor that is) depending on cooling demand. If you have a variable displacement compressor in your vehicle, though, the compressor may hardly ever cycle simply because the...
