I have about 45 years of mechanic experience. I started off working at a cab company, I worked for Sears, and spent some time at a dealership working as a used car tech. I owned my own shop for a while, and for the last eight years, I've worked as a government contractor overseas as a general mechanic, working on a little bit of everything.

Walter was helpful and very nice to myself and my family. He also stayed until sundown to finish installing the battery. Unfortunately the battery still doesn't hold a charge and I don't know if a new AC Compressor will change that. The other suggested changes (to my wipers, etc.) make the cost too much for me to pay in the future. I might call to install the compressor (or alternator, if need be) but I'll have to have those done separately at a more payable cost. My dealings with the GMC dealer were always way too expensive and time consuming, and that's still the case. Still, I thank Walter for the time and effort to fix the problem, as it means a lot to me and my family.

Walter was running behind due to a previous appointment, but he kept us informed of his progress, which we appreciated. Walter was polite and kept us informed. He was able to diagnose the problem with our Honda’s heater/ac, but, unfortunately, we need to get permission from the company for him to be able to correct the original repair issue, which was the reason for our call in the first place, which is frustrating. This appears to be a company issue, though, and not one with Walter. Hopefully, we will be contacted by the company and receive the approval for Walter to complete the work we need completed.

I would recommend Walter to others needing a great knowledgeable and thorough mobile mechanic. Walter solved my “no start” problem within a matter of minutes. ( he was methodical like a physician) This was after I had already invested many hours and replaced several parts trying to resolve the problem on my own. I even had another mobile mechanic out ( different company) to replace the starter, I wish I would have called Walter first, it would have saved me a lot of frustration and stress out in the 100 degree heat, Walter for President!!
