When moving to the state of Minnesota, you will need to make sure you register your vehicle. In order to get the registration process done, you will have to visit the Minnesota Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) or mail in your paperwork. For residents of Minnesota who have purchased a car from an individual, here are the things they will need to have in order to register the vehicle:
- The title to the vehicle

When going to register your vehicle, you will have to pay a fee to get this process done. Here are the fees that you can expect to pay:
- There is a filing fee of $10
- The plates for the vehicle are $6 for the double plate and $4.50 for the single
- To register a motorcycle you will have to pay $4.50
