First time useing a mobile service like this and after meeting and talking to Rigoberto as he removed and installed my new wheel hub assembly in not so pleasant weather I'm sure it will be my last. This had to be the first time I can think of where I had a positive experience having sombody eles work on my car, showed up early, super friendly and full of knowledge. I will be referring him to everybody I know.
Did a great job! Showed up on time (earlier than expected). Was very friendly and very professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get service work on their car.

Honestly he is one of the rarely found trustworthy mechanics. He really knows everything not just change parts and simple mechanic jobs and he even fixed my broken remote controller for free. I mean if you want a mechanic who just doesn't care about taking your money, it is Duane :) Thanks for being a good person.

I absolutely loved Mario. First of all, he reached out to me and let me know his ETA, he arrived early, very respectful, humble and accommodating. He explained everything he was going to do before getting started. He took his time, showed me the bad parts and what was wrong with it. But most importantly, he was patient with me after I had ordered the wrong part. He gladly came back out ...at no extra charge. At completion... we test drove and everything seems to be running smoothly. I highly recommend this mechanic for all your car repair needs. The experience was amazing and I couldn't ask for a better or more efficient mechanic. Thank you so much Mario for all you did!! Arnell

Wheel Hub Assembly Replacement Service

What is the Wheel Hub Assembly all about?

The wheel hub holds a vehicle’s wheels in place. When properly functioning, the front hub ensures that a vehicle’s tires turn freely, that the ABS system works properly, and that fuel efficiency is normal. A rear wheel hub provides a solid mounting point for the rear wheel to bolt onto and ensures smooth rotation at all speeds.

Keep in mind:

A worn out or loose wheel hub assembly can lead to a catastrophic wheel failure. Because the wheel hub holds the vehicle’s wheels in place, it is a critical component and should be fixed as soon as possible. Wheel hub replacements should be done in pairs, because when one is worn to the point of needing replacement, the other will generally have the same amount of wear.

How it's done:

  • The vehicle is supported on jack stands and wheel is removed
  • The old wheel hub assembly is removed
  • The new wheel hub assembly is installed
  • The wheel is reinstalled and vehicle is removed from the jack stands
  • The vehicle is road tested and checked for proper operation of front hubs and brakes

Our recommendation:

If you suspect that your wheel hub assembly needs to be replaced, you should schedule service from one of our expert mechanics immediately. Replacement of a wheel hub assembly may require specialized tools that are best left operated by professional mechanics.

What common symptoms indicate you may need to replace the Wheel Hub Assembly?

  • Whirring or grinding noise from the area of the front hub, located near the center of the vehicle’s wheels, underneath the hubcap
  • “Loose” steering, or steering that responds slowly
  • Uneven brake application or excessive brake pedal travel before brakes apply

How important is this service?

The wheel hub assembly is an essential component of any vehicle. If the wheel hub assembly is not in good operational condition, the wheel can separate from the axle. This is an extreme safety hazard, and repair should never be delayed.
