That was the best experience I've had with a mechanic. It was quick, fairly priced and above all, convenient. The post-work report with notes, pictures and audio recordings was great. I haven't seen another auto shop compare. The price was half that of a local auto shop. Most likely due to overhead costs that aren't part of the mobile mechanic business model.
Patrick was great.

Robert showed up early which was fine and he did the job quickly and was very friendly and helpful. I would have him work on my car again for sure.
Robert did a great job on my high maintenance Acura. He had a lot of work too and completed it in good time. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered a lot of questions for me. He also noticed a faulty strut that a shop installed for me, so they fixed it immediately. I will definitely book him again. Thank you, Robert.

He clearly explained what he would be doing in the way of repairs, and offered a lot of valuable advice about car maintenance going forward. A skilled professional, he brings an attitude of positivity and respect.

Cabin Air Filter Replacement Service

What is the Cabin Air Filter all about?

When you turn on the heat or air conditioner, the air that you get from the car vents originates from outside the car. The cabin air filter cleans the air before passing it through the heating or air conditioning system.

Cabin Filter

Keep in mind:

The cabin air filter is different from the air filter. The job of the air filter is to clean the air that goes into the engine to burn fuel. The job of the cabin air filter is to clean the air that you get from the vents inside the car. You may have more than one cabin air filter.

How it's done:

  • Remove and replace the cabin air filter(s)
  • Clean out all the debris from the compartment if needed.

Our recommendation:

Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and change the cabin air filter as recommended. If you regularly park your car under a tree or near bushes, the cabin air filter(s) will likely suck up debris and leaves, becoming dirtier, faster.

What common symptoms indicate you may need to replace the Cabin Air Filter?

  • Airflow from the AC vents is low or weak.

How important is this service?

When you turn on the heat, fan, or air conditioning in your vehicle, the air that enters the cabin is taken from outside the car. Before passing through your vents it first goes through the cabin air filter, which captures much of the dust, dirt, and harmful pollutants in the air. A functioning cabin air filter assures that the air coming through your vents is clean. When the cabin air filter stops working, the air that enters your vents is unfiltered and can be harmful to breathe. A dirty cabin air filter also obstructs the flow of air to the vents, which will lower the power of your heating or air conditioning system.
