He wasn't late. My a/c works. Did exactly what was described in the quote. Gave me advice on maintenance. Great experience.
Pete was wonderful! He didn't seem bothered (at all) when I asked him about general car maintenance issues and gave very thorough explanations. Oh - by the way - the work he did was great as well!

Excellent service; good conversationalist. I would definitely recommend him. If all the mechanics from this service are as good as him, they should be everyone's go-to.
John was very helpful, great attitude., and knowledgeable on vehicles. I would request him again. Thanks

I'm truly amazed by Jose's by professionalism! He was early in getting here, which I liked a lot. Jose not only did he recharged my AC but also checked my ac compressor if it was working correctly as well as checked for leaks. He also explained to me what the numbers meant on his gauge while he's running the tests. Words are just not enough to say thank you for a job well done. I'll definitely be asking Jose again to do a job real soon, plus I'll recommend him to others! Thanks, Ed Garcia

Shay arrived on time for my appointment. He was very professional and diagnosed/fixed my ac issues in no time. He recommended some repairs that I would need in the future and I scheduled another appointment for him to come back and replace my rear brake pads next week. I will definitely tell my friends and family about this company and I highly recommend Shay.

Car AC Repair Service

What to Expect:

For an AC system to work, it needs a gas or liquid substance called refrigerant (R-12 in older cars, R-134a in 1995 and newer cars). Over time, refrigerant can leak from the AC system through seals. If the AC does not have enough refrigerant, it will not blow cold air.

Keep in mind:

Since the AC system is a sealed unit, the only way to tell if the car needs a recharge is if the AC is not blowing cold air through the vents. There are two types of refrigerant. These cannot be interchanged. For older cars, it should be filled with R12 refrigerant or converted to a newer system. For cars made after 1995, the AC should be filled with R134a.

How it's done:

  • Install air conditioning manifold gauge set.
  • Determine if the air conditioning system charge is low.
  • Add the correct refrigerant to top off the air conditioning system.
  • Install thermometer in vents to monitor vent temperatures.
  • Check system for leaks.
  • Check for proper operation of AC system.

Our recommendation:

It is common for refrigerant to leak. If the AC is not as cold as you expect, then it is probably a good time to have the mechanic look at it. Lack of proper cold air can be an indication of other problems with AC (fan not working, AC compressor not working, etc.).

What are the common symptoms indicating you need an Car AC Repair?

  • AC is not working.
  • AC is not blowing cold air.
  • Clicking noise from the engine compartment.

How important is this service?

In addition to your comfort, air conditioning systems add value to your vehicle. You should keep your AC fully operational. In some systems, the hot and cold air are blended to achieve the desired temperature setting. In these cases, when the AC system fails, in addition to not getting any cold air, the entire temperature regulation can be thrown off.
