He did an A+ job on a very cold and nasty day.
Brandon arrived at scheduled time with white FedEx like white Cargo Van. He took my car off drive way. Although I trusted him, I was a little concerned his safety while he was working under hydro jack. It took about two hours to replace passenger side half CV shaft. He mentioned it took a little more than his expectation. I asked whether the car need to have wheel alignment and he answered I do not need until replace front tires and no other services is required or needed. I like to have my service with Brandon and Your Mechanics, the entire process is smooth and easy. I saved not only my time and $$. I will use the Your Mechanics again with Brandon.
I have had 3 other pre-purchase inspections through YourMechanic which were all fantastic. Unfortunately, I can't say the same of my experience with Jason. He did show up to the inspection when he said he did, but while most mechanics take over an hour to do a nice thorough inspection, he only took 30 minutes start-to-finish. He also didn't take any pictures under the vehicle at all. There is no evidence he went under the vehicle. What's worse than not getting a pre-purchase inspection? Paying for a pre-purchase inspection you can't trust. I approached YourMechanic about my disappointment in this inspection and thankfully they refunded part of my money (but refused to refund the entire amount). I awarded them a second start because of this attempt to partially "make it right".
