I'm very disappointed with this mechanic and I don't know where to begin. The first time he came out he was late. There was no need to diagnose the problem with my car when I new what was wrong. I said it was the shiftier and I was charged $80.00 for that. I part needed to be ordered which at this point was no problem since most of the shifter was still in tact So I was able to drive it for about a week pressing on a bottom lever of the shifter so it can get out park and i can drive it. The following week Robert came back out to replace the broken part (Shifter Interlock Solenoid) and the entire shifter broke and had to be ordered from E bay. He arranged for me to order the part and when arrived he'll be out to fix it. The part arrive this past Sunday and he told me he can do it Monday at 5:30PM. So when that time came I received a text from Robert saying that he blew out his back on his last job and would not be able to come. So I made arrangements for the next day at the same time which he said he'll be able to make. When it came time to do it on Tuesday I had waited 15 minutes past 5:30 and when I text him he said he wasn't going be able to make do to medication for his back that he was still recovering from on Monday so it was arranged to do it again on Wednesday. Again there was another reason not to come out due to his wife being stuck in traffic and will not be home until late since he had to watch the kids. So I texted and asked "when will you be out to fix my car?" He said he can do the next day before 4:00PM but I said that time is no good since I don't get off until 4:15. So a new date was set for him to come out on Saturday in which he told be that his first job isn't until 12:00 noon and he'll be here at 8:30. At 8:45 I texted him to see if he was coming out and I received no response. At 9:15 I sent another text to him and again received no response. Right now I'm totally frustrated. I had already paid 80.00 dollars through the site for diagnosis that was done that was not necessary and another 150.00 dollars to have it fixed. The shifter is now totally busted and I had to pay another 90.00 for the replacement part. The car is still not fixed and I don't want to pay anymore to have this job finish that should have be done already.
