Very knowledgeable and helpful
This was my first time using yourmechanic.com to have repairs done on my car, which unfortunately failed emissions this year. I had known about the problem for years, but just always reset the check engine light before I did the test. Well, this year that didn't work because the numbers had gotten too high even with the light off, so I knew it was time to get the work done. Robert did an outstanding job. He showed up on time within the one hour appointment time. The actual time that it took to do the repair was less than what I had expected. It only took him about a hour to do the whole job. Three hours later, I'm at the emissions testing station and my car passes with flying colors. Robert was very knowledgeable and professional by pointing out other repairs that I already knew about that will have to be taken care of at a later time. I will definately recommend yourmechanic.com and Robert to friends and family.
Started having braking issues on my 05 Pontiac Grand Prix. Brake pedal would get squishy and then go to the floor. ABS light, and traction control lights illuminated on the dash. Service ABS System, Service Traction Control System, and Service Stability Control System warnings flashing on the systems warnings console. Initial inspection under the hood revealed a bone dry brake fluid reservoir. Brake fluid leaking from the ABS pump. Replaced the ABS pump and the anti-lock control module. Topped off the brake fluid, and called in Robert from Yourmechanic.com to come out and do a brake system flush to bleed the air out of the lines and put in fresh new brake fluid. Second time hiring Robert to come out and do work for me. He arrived early for the appointment time, about 30 minutes, which was awesome. I knew he did great work, so I let him have at it. 90 minutes later I was driving down the road testing out the brakes without any issues, no idiot lights coming on, no warnings flashing me in the face. Yourmechanic.com is the best way in the universe to get low cost, quality auto repairs done right the first time. Thanks guys.
