First off the mechanic arrived on time but wasnt prepared at all. He starts off by scanning the vehicle for the codes which i already knew were p0300 302, 303 and 305 random misfires. Then he tells me he thinks its the timing belt which clearly it wasnt. I would have thought if he haddened performed a valve adjustment on the this kind of vehicle that he would have at least researched it. I found my self standing outside the whole 5hrs telling him certain things to do. Then a little before he finished he tells me i hope this valve adjustment works. Second he didnt finish the job. The job recalled for 4.6hrs of labor which is no where enough time especially for someone who hasnt done one on this vehicle. So 5hrs into it he tells me he has to go to another job 30min away and i have to make another appointment for him to come back. He then trys to say hes going to put everything back together and hopefully it works. So i say why would you put everything back together if the job isnt finished when cylinder 2 is the worst of them all and that 1 hasnt been touched. I dont the blame 100% on him its the companys fault as well for booking him jobs that way. So half of the job was complete and i just took it upon myself to finish it. I went and bought the filler guages and completed the rest of the job in about 7hrs and now the car runs great. He did charge me only 2hrs for labor which was cool i guess the i belive the parts were over priced but thats just my opinion.
