He was running late but he gave me advance notice of it and why. Did a great job. Highly recommend.
Nice guy, was on time, tried his needy, but ultimately had the wrong diagnosis. He tested other systems and deduced the distributor needed to be replaced but said couldn't do it until the next week. I couldn't wait a week so I replaced the distributor cap, rotor, and ignition coil myself ($90). Still not working. had it towed to my mechanic. ($45). Tested distributor and it was good. Figured out it was a fuel quality issue. Drained the fuel and put new in. ($70). I figure this is probably a difficult service to provide as a mobile mechanic, so don't blame Richard, but frustrating that went without my car for 2 weeks and spent a couple hundred more than I needed to because of a wrong diagnosis.
