Q: Yesterday I was driving fine at all speeds until last night until I reached 70mph then it seemed like it couldn't go anymore

asked by on November 22, 2017

About a month ago I got a light on the dash for low oil pressure then it went away but the last time I changed my oil i used synthetic high mileage oil.

My car goes thru oil fast it I must of drove maybe around 1000 miles when I got that notice
I drove it until I Got oil I could only find 4 quarts w5 20.

I looked up online 2009 Toyota camery xle has a defective pistons (2AZ-FE engine may exhibit engine oil consumption and may cause cylinder misfire)

But to get back to the topic I was doing 20 mph on local street until I turned on to the highway and I started Accelerating 30 40 50mph then I pressed a light bit more 60 -70 mph I was trying to reach 80 mph then lightly maintain it by pressing the peddle.

All of a sudden it seemed like it couldn't reach from 70 to 80mph then the gaged started going down fast so I let it reach to 40 and pressed on the peddle and it went all the way down and made a noise zing! I pulled over for 30min cooled down started driving back slowly

My car has 192000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
