Wouldn't start...put a starter on it still wouldn't start engine turned but wouldn't catch...figured it was flooded died the plus and blew out the spark plug holes...put it back together cranked it and blew blew a hole in the intake manifold
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi Whitney. Thanks for writing in today. If we are understanding your question correctly, if you have a hole in the intake manifold that occurred after trying to start the engine, then it’s pretty safe to assume that you experienced a rather large backfire. This can happen when serious ignition timing problem happened and was likely the initial source of your hard to start problem. If the intake manifold is damaged, that will require replacement, but it’s likely that internal engine damage has also occurred. It’s hard to tell you what caused this - but repairing this engine will likely cost more than the cost of buying a replacement. If we’re not correctly understanding your issue, please clarify for us and we’ll try to help more.
