Q: wondering if I can fix a leaky Quick Connect at the clutch slave with a hose and hose clamps.

asked by on December 14, 2017

I have a leak at the Quick Connect fitting going into the clutch slave tube at the transmission. Is it possible that I can replace the entire fitting with a hose and hose clamps? I realize new fittings would be recommended, but I need to have this truck running now. Thanks for help.

My car has 143000 miles.
