Q: Wondering if a person can replace a radiator hose themselves to save money or is that something that has to be replaced by shop
I was driving home from work and had the A.c. on. The truck seemed fine but as I pulled in to parking space when I got home noticed near the passenger side windshield towards the bottom that there was smoke coming out of the hood so I popped the hood and went to turn off the car and the digital read out said engine hot turn off A/C so I did and turned off the car then opened the hood to find a hose that looks like it's machined and pressurized put on is not connected anymore just before the metal compressed top starts it came completely off.
My car has an automatic transmission.
