Q: Wipers don't work.

asked by on August 12, 2017

After a heavy snowfall, I hit the wiper switch getting out and it blew a fuse. I replaced it later and it worked for about 3 seconds and then blew again. I brought it into a shop and they have replaced the wiper motor three times (kept blowing the fuse and motor) now and they don't know what else could be wrong. Please tell me I don't need to replace the whole electrical system for the wipers.

My car has 180000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
