Q: Windows not rolling down

asked by on

Three of the windows in my car won't roll down.

A: Hello. If all three of the windows stopped ...

Hello. If all three of the windows stopped working at the same time, then that is a sure sign of a circuit issue. A voltage meter would be needed to test the circuit, but most of the time it is caused by the master switch failing on the driver door. If the windows failed one at a time then the problem may be the window motor at each window. These are common failures, but they do not all fail at the same time. I recommend having a certified technician, such as one from YourMechanic, to diagnose and repair your window problem.
