Q: Window off track

asked by on

My automatic window came off the track.

Hi. The window glass has a mechanical connection to the window regulator and motor assembly. The track built into the door has mounting points as well that must hold strong during window operation. Have an experienced technician inspect the window assembly for mechanical failures and have it repaired soon as a binding window regulator assembly can stress the motor.
