Q: Window is off the runner

asked by on

The front driver's side window is off the runner and can't be opened or closed properly. This happened a couple months ago to the passenger-side window.

Hello. The window motor and regulator assembly are responsible for the movement of the window and stability. The track in which the window sits is stationary, as long as the mounting points are not damaged. Have an experienced technician disassemble the door panel and inspect the window’s components for damage and make the necessary repairs.
