Q: will go When I start but only for 30 sec then

asked by on February 06, 2018

Recently replaced transmission, torque converter. When I start the truck it will get into gear and drive for a couple minute then I have no power, I have to restart the truck and this will most of the time work. Transmission fluid is good, no leaks. Almost like if it didn’t have oil but it does.

My car has 350 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Too little flow on the EGR.
Have a certified mechanic check the operation (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/exhaust-gas-recirculation-egr-valve-replacement) of the EGR(exhaust gas recirculation) system. In many cases, the fault can come from an EGR valve that is not working properly or carbon build-up blocking the recirculation passages.
