Q: Will a power steering pump for A4 1.8l fit a 2.8l? 2000 Audi A4 Quattro

Need a power steering pump ordered the wrong part and need to know if I can use it anyways before I return it both parts are for a 2000 audi a4 one is 1.8l and the other is 2.8l. Can I use it anyways?

My car has 290000 miles.
