Why would a 2008 E150 van 5.4 vin L not work in my 1999 F150 5.4 vin L?
I know in 2009 it converted to flex fuel. I also know that in 1999 F150 was only year that they put a metal upper intake on the truck. I also know flywheel, knock sensor, cam sensor, water pump are all same part number on both. I also know that in 2004 the pulleys went from a 4 rib to 3 rib system.
So if I strip the engine down to block and heads will it bolt up all the accessories and drop into my 99 F-150.?
