Q: Whining noise from the 4 cyl engine.

There is a constant whining noise from the engine. It does not seem related to the power steering since it does not get louder when I steer one direction or another. It just seems constant and gets louder and quieter with acceleration and deceleration. It is directly related to the speed of the engine. Please advise. Thanks marcus
