Q: While driving car wouldn't shift correctly, then the car shut off, tried to crank it and the starter clicks and car won't start

asked by on March 22, 2018

While driving the car the transmission wouldn't change into the right gear. Then it just shuts off while I was driving. I tried to start it back up and it wouldn't turn over. I hear the starter clicks but nothing happens. What could this be? ECU?

My car has 180000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
