service engine light on and temp reader in cabin indicates -140 deg.

The ambient air temperature sensor for the engine computer is mounter to the hood panel underneath hood. If the sensor is disconnected it will rear the maximum negative in the computer and set codes for sensor. When the key is first turned on the computer compares the engine temperature sensor to the ambient temperature sensor to determine if one is giving a bad reading.
